Luis and Natty were taking some time off of work and staying in town for some rest and relaxation.
Luis took Isaac and I around to a section of town that seemed to be set up just for motorcycles. There were dealers, mechanics, retail, everything that you might need when you need some help with your bike.
Neither of our bikes had been serviced in awhile, so we had long lists of stuff that needed to be done or purchased. Luis was awesome. The three of us carried on, and laughed at each other like old friends as we took care of business.

We dropped Isaac’s steed off first at a certified Honda mechanic

After we dropped our bikes off, Natty picked the three of us up and we went to lunch at Rancherito.

A huge mixed grill plate! Chicharron, Blood sausage, Chorizo, Poached Egg, Beans, Coleslaw, Avocado, Plantains, Rice, and a small Arepa

Isaac finished his plate and half of Luis’s. I was impressed!
After lunch it was nap time for me. We had really hurt ourselves with the amount of food we had ingested. The meal was absolutely incredible. All the things I listed above individually were great, together they were perfect.
Isaac was so uncomfortable that he couldn’t sleep during his siesta. I slept but had weird dreams.
The three of us returned to motorcycle land to recover our bikes. Isaac got some new brake pads, a new chain, and rear wheel bearings.
At Moto Angles, they did a valve adjustment, balanced my throttle bodies, and bent a foot peg back into position that got skewed on Ometepe. They gave everything a once over, finding nothing wrong. They also barely charged me more than $15.00 for the service. It would have cost at least $300 back in the States. Because of all the pictures of travelers and dirty bikes on the wall, I think the guys at Moto Angels just like to help travelers out.
We actually got everything done on our lists. That never happens in this part of the world. Usually lack of knowledge of a city or bad Spanish really gets in your way as you dedicate a day to running errands. Thanks for your help Luis!

I was supposed to cook dinner for everyone at Natty and Hectors house. But by the time we got our bikes it was too late. So we all went out for dinner at this really modern mall. It had rollercoaster in the middle courtyard!
We thanked our amazing hosts and said goodbye. We would be up at 5:30am to try to make it to Popayan.
